About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work primarily with IT Functional Business Analysts to design, develop, implement, support and maintain extensions and enhancements to Oracle E-Business Suite
Implement technology solutions in all modules of Oracle E-Business Suite using Helen of Troy SDLC, Change Control and testing methodologies
Investigate and resolve reported system issues
Provide system information and utilize diagnostic techniques
Guide production support efforts and interface with vendor support as required
Complete assigned development tasks on time while adhering to development standards and practices
Develop fast, efficient, and self-recovering integrations with Oracle EBS
Deliver extensions and customizations that meet user requirements
Communicate with Functional Business Analysts to develop solutions meeting user requirements and specifications
Analyze facts to determine action based on standard practices and procedures
Troubleshoot complex problems and implement fixes based on root cause analysis
Attend meetings requested by Project Managers and/or Functional Business Analysts
Complete assigned project plan tasks on time

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
3+ years of related experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 or higher
3+ years’ experience in advanced SQL/PLSQL concepts
2+ years working with relational DBs using SQL/PLSQL skills
2+ years’ experience with Linux scripting
Proven ability in developing, deploying, and maintaining applications using Oracle Apex
Experience with middleware tools: Workato and/or Boomi to manage full end-to-end integrations
Experience in Oracle Cloud and Fusion modules with configuration, customization, and integration for complex business needs
Experience with Java and JSP, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework)
Knowledge/experience with change management and configuration management
Knowledge/experience with Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of methods and procedures of computer software design, development and maintenance
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail; self-motivated, detail oriented, and deadline driven
Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a project team
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation
Project management skills
