Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Hello Patient’s next phase of sales growth and own net-new revenue
  • Refine sales strategy around healthcare segments, customer needs, and use cases
  • Build outbound and account-development approaches for qualified territory opportunities
  • Analyze conversion rates, deal age, win/loss patterns, and rep performance to identify bottlenecks and scale improvements
  • Own forecasting, performance reporting, and board-level sales updates
  • Establish verticals, territories, capacity, quota, and headcount plans
  • Translate company goals into an actionable sales plan with the executive team
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Delivery, Product, Finance, and RevOps to improve lead quality, resolve blockers, and support implementation transitions
  • Coach AEs on calls, customer meetings, discovery, demos, negotiation, closing, and deal strategy
  • Set expectations for prospecting, pipeline creation, deal execution, qualification, and quota attainment
  • Establish operating cadences for pipeline reviews, forecasting, QBRs, coaching, and performance management
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain sales talent; address underperformance and build management capacity
  • Own sales organization performance and net-new revenue goals
  • Advance enterprise opportunities by sharpening business cases, engaging decision-makers, navigating buying processes, and establishing next steps
  • Bring executive support to priority opportunities and personally lead selected enterprise deals and strategic partnerships
  • Establish qualification standards and sales frameworks
  • Deliver measurable improvements in pipeline quality, deal progression, and AE execution during the first 90 days
  • Present revenue outlooks, risks, and plans for improving performance and scaling capacity
  • Build an actionable hiring and development plan tied to company growth goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, including at least five years in sales leadership
  • Track record of building high-performing sales teams and a repeatable sales motion, including recruiting, onboarding, and directly coaching AEs
  • Experience selling complex SaaS or technology solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Experience personally leading major opportunities through negotiation and close
  • Strong commercial and operational judgment across pipeline generation, deal execution, forecasting, and sales capacity planning
  • Hands-on leadership style and resourcefulness in an early-stage company
  • Strong executive presence and ability to earn customer trust, develop talent, and hold the team accountable
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer and partner meetings, industry events, and time with teams in Austin and New York City
  • Preferred: experience leading multiple teams or managing sales managers
  • Preferred: experience selling healthcare technology, AI, communications, contact center, or patient engagement solutions
  • Preferred: familiarity with multi-location healthcare groups, private equity-backed platforms, or distributed organizations
  • Preferred: experience developing vertical-specific sales strategies
  • Based in Austin or New York City preferred, with a strong preference for working alongside the team in person four days per week
  • Ability to work from the office a minimum of four days per week
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 50 hours per week
