About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the delivery of projects for an application managing personal insurance contracts
Analyze requirements with the AMOA team
Develop the components required to implement projects
Develop prototypes when necessary
Contribute to estimating development effort
Develop software components in accordance with standards for robustness, maintainability, and documentation quality
Perform unit testing and verify that there are no regressions
Identify, address, validate, and qualify non-conformities
Ensure that components are made available in testing and deployment environments
Monitor fixes and verify their relevance
Analyze and carry out preventive, corrective, adaptive, and evolutionary maintenance
Handle production incidents and document action plans
Apply technical expertise to resolve issues
Create and maintain technical documentation
Report to the manager on compliance with specifications, effort estimates, quality, reliability, scalability, and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successful initial experience of up to 5 years as a software designer and developer in complex, feature-rich application environments
Proficiency in Micro Focus COBOL, Pro*COBOL, SQL, and Oracle
Proficiency in Shell scripting on Linux
Proficiency with source code management tools such as GitLab
Knowledge of Visual Studio, C#, and WPF would be an advantage
Strong analytical skills
Good team spirit
Strong commitment and focus on service quality
