About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide repair services for equipment in practitioners' offices under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator
  • Provide basic installation services as needed
  • Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks under supervision
  • Troubleshoot technical problems, diagnose errors, and determine solutions
  • Make recommendations to optimize the customer experience
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels in the service van
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Communicate assignment progress to team members and HUB dispatchers
  • Complete and review work orders with customers, close them daily, and submit them for billing
  • Submit FDA forms, expense reports, and other required paperwork
  • Comply with Fleet Management Policy, including maintenance and accident management policies
  • Participate in special projects and perform other required duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically, 2 or more years of field service experience with demonstrated proficiency
  • Basic mechanical background and customer service background
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to maneuver large equipment
  • Ability to perform substantial and/or repetitive bending, stopping, lifting, and climbing ladders
  • Must comply with OSHA regulations and use personal protective equipment when needed
  • Typically high school education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training are listed as preferred education; associate degree or technical school certification is preferred
