About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary global interface between Corporate Finance stakeholders, GBS, and outsourced delivery partners
  • Own end-to-end global service delivery performance for FP&A processes
  • Translate functional business requirements into operational delivery plans
  • Lead daily and weekly global operating cadence, managing volume, quality, throughput, and delivery performance
  • Own and enforce SLA and KPI performance, including forecast accuracy, budget cycle timeliness, management reporting turnaround, and variance analysis quality
  • Identify risks and escalate issues to the Corporate Finance Global Process Lead with root cause analysis and corrective action plans
  • Own delivery of the planning and reporting calendar across all geographies
  • Act as the primary escalation point for FP&A service delivery issues
  • Own vendor service delivery outcomes, including SLA performance, quality, and accuracy
  • Support demand forecasting and capacity planning
  • Maintain exception management and escalation frameworks
  • Identify and implement process improvements, reporting automation, and standardization with the Global Process Lead and Process Excellence teams
  • Support transition, stabilization, and post-Day 1 onboarding activities for new scope migrations into GBS or outsourced environments
  • Report to the Corporate Finance Global Process Lead
  • Travel typically less than 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity within FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Corporate Finance functions
  • 3 or more years in an operational leadership or delivery management role
  • Experience managing third-party outsourced providers in SLA-based environments required
  • Deep subject matter expertise in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, variance analysis, and business partnering
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and planning cycle management across multiple geographies and business units
  • Proven experience managing global or multi-entity service delivery environments with an FP&A or finance reporting focus
  • Expertise in KPI and SLA performance management within an FP&A context
  • Experience managing outsourced or hybrid retained-vendor delivery models within an FP&A or finance function
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with senior functional leaders including CFOs, Finance Directors, and business unit planning leads
  • Experience supporting or driving process improvements, reporting automation, planning tool implementations, and standardization of FP&A processes
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills
  • Outstanding independent decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and manage complex projects, including timelines, budgets, resources, and responsibilities

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CIMA are strongly preferred
