About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain portfolio pipeline/roadmap, opportunity pipeline, marketing plan, and product-specific targeting and positioning
Execute Product Lifecycle Management strategy for product categories
Develop pricing consistent with marketing strategy and brand positioning
Assist in developing new marketing channels and tools
Execute customer-facing activities such as voice of customer and customer-centered design
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the new product development process
Oversee packaging design and labeling while ensuring regulatory compliance for domestic and international markets
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap using competitive, customer, and market analysis
Conduct trade research covering competitive offerings, clients, pricing, and industry trends
Develop project plans and status reports
Generate ideas and concepts to improve customer experience and product capabilities
Advocate for product and solution designs with customers
Work with development or vendor teams to exceed customer expectations
Monitor, measure, and report key business metrics and identify improvement areas
Serve as a company resource and technical expert for assigned products
Support sales and customer-support requirements for assigned products
Visit customers and attend industry events
Bridge development, marketing, sales, and support functions across the product lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be proficient in project management knowledge & skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Experience with product development, project management, sourcing and vendor negotiations
Excellent public presentation skills, both internal and external (customer-facing)
Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional team(s)
Knowledge of Medical Device Regulations preferred
Technical background in product development preferred
Knowledge of the Dental market, including the business of dentistry, preferred
Good understanding of industry practices
Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures
Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques
Good decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good presentation and public speaking skills
Good interpersonal skills
Basic conflict resolution skills
Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in applicable professional experience
Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline preferred
Travel typically less than 10%
No special physical demands required
