About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage post-closing finance relationships and serve as liaison for management of subsidiaries, recent acquisitions and partnerships
  • Partner with business leaders to define and prioritize attractive market segments
  • Manage Finance functions and implement cost-effective systems and efficient financial operations
  • Analyze profitability, sales growth, headcount and expenses, and prepare monthly performance reports
  • Provide recommendations based on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow impacts
  • Lead budgeting and forecast preparation and improve forecast quality and financial performance
  • Review sales and profit projections against actual figures and investigate variances
  • Provide analyses of budgets, financial reports and trends for business decision-making
  • Prepare financial reports and financial closes, including income statements, balance sheets, stakeholder reports and KPIs
  • Ensure financial reporting complies with accounting and regulatory requirements
  • Own and evaluate cost accounting and product costing, including material, labor, overhead, inventory and purchase-price variances
  • Oversee financial and management reporting across business units
  • Provide financial modelling oversight for pricing, investments, hiring, capital expenditures, product initiatives, operational changes and M&A growth
  • Oversee AP, AR, billing, collections and related controls
  • Own the Finance and Accounting workstream for ERP implementation
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organizational structure
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • ERP implementation experience required
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Strong commitment to financial accuracy and data integrity
  • Significant experience in product development, product launch and product lifecycle management
  • Mastery of financial management and reporting requirements associated with HCP KOL partnerships
  • Project management and consultative skills
  • Ability to manage a budget
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills
  • Outstanding independent decision making, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to plan and manage complex and successful projects
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to lead and develop virtual teams
  • Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience
  • 3 or more years of management experience
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Finance or Accounting is preferred education; MBA is preferred
