About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive technical strategy and execution for the Patient Experience and Analytics Solution
Represent Data Engineering across the business
Partner with the team to solve complex technical challenges
Review critical implementations and model engineering best practices
Mentor offshore engineering teams while remaining hands-on in technical execution and delivery
Ensure products are secure, compliant, reliable, and operationally sound
Collaborate with Product to execute product vision and strategy through technical plans
Build cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders to improve customer and user experience
Advance engineering processes, practices, and organizational maturity
Influence technical and operational decisions across teams
Design, build, and operate large-scale data platforms using real-time streaming, batch ETL, data warehousing, CDC patterns, and high-volume analytics

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of progressive software/database and data solution development experience
Experience designing and supporting large-scale data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and high-volume data processing environments
Solid understanding of data architecture, data movement patterns, and scalable system design
Proficiency or experience with Python, Go, PHP, Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB, MySQL, AWS, Serverless Architecture, CloudFormation, Docker, Kafka, Spark, PySpark, Jira, GitLab, Selenium, Dynatrace, and AI/ML technologies
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with ownership and accountability
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (listed as a differentiator)
AWS Certified Data Engineer (listed as a differentiator)
Must be able to work remotely within the United States
Up to 10% travel as needed
