About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide customer service through phone, email, and in-person consultations
Process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company computer system
Create sales orders and quotes using customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs
Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries
Participate in cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving activities
Operate a large truck with pigtail as a backup driver
Support accurate order entry, inventory accuracy, and delivery logistics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior experience in a customer service or sales role preferred
Experience managing customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty preferred
Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation
Experience or familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order entry procedures
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and 50 lbs repetitively
Backup Driver responsibilities in a non-regulated truck
Experience operating a large vehicle, specifically a truck with pigtail
Ability to work in warehouses and outdoor environments
Willingness and ability to work overtime during peak season
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, driving screening, and background screening
Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency preferred, not mandatory
Forklift operation experience is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent of experience and education
Pigtail truck experience
