About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the EMEA sales community toward growth, increased profitability, and achievement of goals
  • Manage the HPE sales motion and coordinate company sales activities across the area of control
  • Set quotas and goals for sales organizations
  • Develop tactics to generate new sales and ensure optimum sales coverage
  • Manage pipeline, sales planning, asset management, demo sales achievement, and disciplined process execution
  • Develop sales resources and management talent
  • Build lasting consultative relationships with customer accounts
  • Coach and support sales teams and leadership on key and difficult account opportunities
  • Build long-term growth opportunities through Account Business Planning
  • Develop consultative solution-selling capabilities and compelling business cases
  • Ensure end-to-end selling support through solution partners, sales architects, inside sales representatives, and resellers
  • Provide external leadership to industry, community, and press
  • Engage global business unit sales, channel, and alliance partners to leverage HPE products and technologies
  • Create and manage resource plans, including staffing country sales teams
  • Balance short- and long-term planning and resource investment
  • Direct customers’ application of technology to new business problems
  • Create a performance-driven culture and best-in-class IT sales force
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, customer feedback, and won/lost deal analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced university or Master's degree preferred
  • 5–10 years of sales and progressive management experience
  • 10–15 years of industry experience
  • Demonstrated results in growing a business or expanding a market
  • Strategic sales planning and implementation
  • Budget management and cost optimization
