About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Influence and manage the Mist for SMB/Midmarket solution offering across the product life cycle
  • Partner with regional sales teams, Partners, Distributors, the Sales Program Manager, and Pricing team
  • Plan business objectives and adjust product positioning and offering decisions
  • Provide expert knowledge of SMB/MM business, competition, products, pricing, marketing, and customer requirements
  • Communicate, brief, and support regional teams and Partner sales forces on solution offerings
  • Influence go-to-market strategy and define demand-generation priorities
  • Contribute to the business plan and drive execution to country level
  • Establish senior-level relationships with regional sales forces and partners
  • Hold quota responsibility for Mist in the SMB/MM product range
  • Advise VARs and Distributors on partner ecosystem trends and mutually beneficial plans
  • Build executive-level partner relationships to grow HPE market share
  • Tailor selling solutions involving HPE products, services, and technology alliances to achieve quota
  • Recruit and develop new partner relationships and increase partner commitment to HPE
  • Monitor partner sales floors to develop pipeline
  • Ensure partners understand and comply with HPE's SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations
  • Lead or provide expertise to functional project teams and cross-functional initiatives
  • Guide process improvements and establish policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Typically 6–10+ years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
  • Experience selling to partners in a complex environment
  • Thorough awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
  • Networking technology knowledge
  • Understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including LAN, WLAN, switching, routing, network security, SD-WAN, cloud networking, AI-driven networking, and network management solutions
  • Ability to engage partners and customers in business and technical conversations regarding networking architectures, infrastructure modernization, and digital transformation
  • Understanding of HPE Networking portfolio value proposition and competitive positioning, including Aruba and Juniper technologies
  • Ability to work alongside Sales Engineers and Solution Architects
  • Awareness of enterprise networking technology trends, including AI-native networking, cloud-managed networking, automation, security, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Sales, account management, portfolio, partner industry, partnering, negotiation, financial, and sales forecasting acumen
