About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and deliver the AMS Microsoft business plan aligned to HPE Compute, Hybrid Cloud, and Worldwide Microsoft Alliance objectives
  • Translate global Azure Local and Microsoft go-to-market priorities into regional execution plans and geo-level actions
  • Drive quarterly and annual business performance reviews across AMS geographies
  • Establish and maintain a predictable operating rhythm across regional stakeholders
  • Lead regional pipeline strategy and execution for Azure Local, Windows Server, and related Microsoft solutions
  • Monitor pipeline health, forecast accuracy, opportunity progression, and revenue attainment
  • Drive corrective actions for performance gaps, coverage issues, and execution risks
  • Support strategic opportunities and executive-level deal escalations
  • Oversee engagement with distributors, strategic partners, and Microsoft ecosystem partners
  • Drive recruitment, activation, and performance of Elite and strategic partners
  • Ensure execution of partner programs, incentives, workshops, and field enablement initiatives
  • Guide investment decisions for MDF, JMA, POC funding, and partner acceleration activities
  • Coordinate geo BDMs, Azure Local Solution Experts, sales, channel, marketing, product management, and Microsoft field organizations
  • Align regional priorities with Worldwide Alliance leadership and business units
  • Facilitate executive reviews, QBRs, pipeline reviews, governance forums, and operational checkpoints
  • Escalate and resolve pricing, funding, reporting, technical resource, and operational execution issues
  • Own regional scorecard management, KPI reporting, and executive business reviews
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of geo-level reporting and business insights
  • Drive accountability for pipeline management, partner engagement, POC progression, and customer success outcomes
  • Assess regional resource coverage and recommend organizational changes to optimize business performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expert-level role
  • Experience and skills sufficient to lead Microsoft business development across the Americas (AMS)
  • Ability to develop and deliver regional Microsoft business plans aligned with HPE Compute, Hybrid Cloud, and Worldwide Microsoft Alliance objectives
  • Ability to execute Azure Local and Microsoft go-to-market priorities
  • Experience with Azure Local, Windows Server, and related Microsoft solutions
  • Pipeline strategy, forecasting, opportunity progression, and revenue attainment expertise
  • Experience managing distributors, strategic partners, and Microsoft ecosystem partners
  • Experience with partner programs, incentives, workshops, and field enablement initiatives
  • Knowledge of MDF, JMA, POC funding, and partner acceleration activities
  • Ability to coordinate geo BDMs, Azure Local Solution Experts, sales, channel, marketing, product management, and Microsoft field organizations
