About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and deliver the AMS Microsoft business plan aligned with HPE Compute, Hybrid Cloud, and Worldwide Microsoft Alliance objectives
  • Translate global Azure Local and Microsoft go-to-market priorities into regional execution plans and geo-level actions
  • Drive quarterly and annual business performance reviews across AMS geographies
  • Lead regional pipeline strategy and execution for Azure Local, Windows Server, and related Microsoft solutions
  • Monitor pipeline health, forecast accuracy, opportunity progression, and revenue attainment
  • Drive corrective actions for performance gaps, coverage issues, and execution risks
  • Support strategic opportunities and executive-level deal escalations
  • Oversee engagement with distributors, strategic partners, and Microsoft ecosystem partners
  • Drive recruitment, activation, and performance of Elite and strategic partners
  • Coordinate activities across geo BDMs, solution experts, sales, channel, marketing, product management, and Microsoft field organizations
  • Facilitate executive reviews, QBRs, pipeline reviews, governance forums, and operational checkpoints
  • Own regional scorecard management, KPI reporting, and executive business reviews
  • Ensure timely, high-quality geo-level reporting and business insights
  • Assess regional resource coverage and recommend organizational changes to optimize performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading Microsoft business development across the Americas (AMS)
  • Knowledge of Azure Local, Windows Server, and related Microsoft solutions
  • Experience developing and executing regional business plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Experience managing pipeline strategy, forecasting, opportunity progression, and revenue attainment
  • Experience developing distributor, strategic partner, and Microsoft ecosystem relationships
  • Experience with partner programs, incentives, workshops, and field enablement
  • Experience with MDF, JMA, POC funding, and partner acceleration activities
  • Experience coordinating sales, channel, marketing, product management, solution experts, and Microsoft field organizations
  • Experience with scorecard management, KPI reporting, executive business reviews, QBRs, and governance forums
  • Ability to address pricing, funding, reporting, technical resource, and operational execution issues
