Key responsibilities & impact

Develop recommendations from complex data and business analyses and formulate them into business plans
Drive construction of innovative statistical and financial models to analyze business performance
Establish business performance metrics and recommend strategies to address performance gaps
Lead complex, time-sensitive market research projects and identify trends and opportunities
Staff and manage cross-functional teams across business planning activities
Drive priority projects and make final team decisions
Develop business plans and identify new opportunities with client business leaders
Develop and drive business plan recommendations based on analysis, trends, and experience
Identify or develop analytical tools, models, and methods for key business decisions
Counsel business leaders, recommend approaches for executing strategies, and develop creative solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area
Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience
Extensive knowledge of research methodology for challenging business issues
Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
Ability to leverage new analytical techniques
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
Superior business acumen and technical knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influence skills
Excellent project management skills, including leading large cross-functional initiatives
Strong relationship management, partnering, and consulting skills
