About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build cloud software from the ground up for mission-critical applications
Develop innovative end-to-end technical solutions for customer problems
Prototype, design, and implement cloud-based solutions
Collaborate with project managers and development partners on delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of cloud engagements
Drive development of innovative service offerings for HPE’s Cloud Services portfolio
Analyze feature specifications and determine coding, testing, and integration activities
Design and develop moderate to complex cloud application modules
Debug code and integration issues and create solutions
Develop and execute comprehensive feature test plans
Deploy cloud systems and application code using CI/CD pipelines
Contribute to innovation and integration of new technologies
Analyze data processing, application, system administration, and network problems and implement solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline
4+ years of experience in cloud development
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript
Good understanding of distributed systems, event-driven programming paradigms, and designing for scale and performance
Experience with cloud-native applications, developer tools, managed services, and next-generation databases
Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration using Kubernetes
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in an agile, changing environment
