About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze feature specifications and determine coding, testing, and integration activities
Design and develop moderate to complex cloud application modules according to specifications and security policies
Identify, debug, and resolve code and application-architecture integration issues
Develop and execute comprehensive feature test plans covering performance, scale, usability, and security
Deploy cloud systems and application code through CI/CD pipelines
Automate cloud application management, scaling, and deployment
Contribute to innovation and integration of new technologies
Analyze data-processing, system-administration, and network problems and implement solutions
Collaborate with project managers and development partners on delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of cloud engagements
Drive development of innovative service offerings for HPE’s Cloud Services portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline
4+ years of experience in cloud development
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript
Good understanding of distributed systems, event-driven programming paradigms, and designing for scale and performance
Experience with cloud-native applications, developer tools, managed services, and next-generation databases
Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration using Kubernetes
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in an agile environment
Must work an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office
