About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop multi-quarter communication strategies and integrated storytelling programs
  • Lead Business, Product, and Innovation communication programs reaching team members globally
  • Create articles, videos, presentations, executive talking points, leadership messaging, and strategic communication plans
  • Advise business leaders and stakeholders on messaging, audience engagement, storytelling, and communication planning
  • Own and evolve the HPE Archives communications program, including planning, expenditure oversight, stakeholder management, governance, campaigns, and measurement
  • Establish communication frameworks, processes, and best practices
  • Mentor and guide communications team members
  • Partner with Global Communications communicators to align business and innovation narratives across channels
  • Use data, insights, and measurement to improve communication effectiveness, engagement, and business outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in employee communications, executive communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related communications disciplines
  • Experience developing and leading communications strategies for business, technology, innovation, executive, or transformation initiatives
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication skills
  • Strong communications consulting and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects independently
  • Strong program management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Proficient command of English (US), including excellent grammar, composition, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of technology industry trends and communications best practices preferred
  • Portfolio of work available for review preferred
