About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop multi-quarter communication strategies supporting HPE’s innovation, portfolio strategy, customer success, and business priorities
- Lead Business, Product, and Innovation communication programs for team members globally
- Create articles, videos, presentations, executive talking points, leadership messaging, and strategic communication plans
- Advise business leaders and stakeholders on messaging, audience engagement, storytelling, and communication planning
- Own and evolve the HPE Archives communications program, including planning, expenditure oversight, stakeholder management, governance, campaigns, and measurement
- Establish communication frameworks, processes, and best practices
- Mentor communications team members and elevate communication quality and program execution
- Partner with Global Communications communicators to align narratives across channels and audiences
- Use data, insights, and measurement to improve communication effectiveness, engagement, and business outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in employee communications, executive communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related communications disciplines
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading communications strategies for business, technology, innovation, executive, or transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of technology industry trends and communications best practices preferred
- Proficient command of English (US) language
- Excellent grammar, composition, and proofreading skills
- Portfolio of work available for review preferred
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication skills
- Strong communications consulting and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects independently
- Strong program management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- High level of professionalism, judgment, integrity, and discretion
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
