About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support HR communications initiatives by translating people-related programs, policies, and priorities into clear, practical, and engaging messages for global audiences
  • Develop communication strategies for people leaders and team members across talent, performance, and rewards experiences
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate content for email messages, intranet articles, talking points, presentations, social posts, and engagement materials
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR teams on communication best practices and strategies
  • Project manage communications timelines, reviews, and deliverables across stakeholders and program owners
  • Ensure communications are clear, compelling, inclusive, and aligned with HPE’s writing style, brand standards, and tone
  • Use engagement data, feedback, and performance insights to refine communication approaches and strengthen team member engagement
  • Shape communications for career development, performance management, benefits, and rewards programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, HR communications, leadership communications, journalism, marketing communications, or a related field
  • Experience supporting HR, culture, or employee engagement communications is a plus
  • Proficient command of English (US), including excellent grammar, composition, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with content management systems, collaboration tools, social media platforms, and basic multimedia or design tools is preferred
  • Portfolio of writing, editing, or communications work is preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex HR, business, and leadership topics into clear, simple, and actionable language for global audiences
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with independence and accountability
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Strong program management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
