About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate people-related programs, policies, and priorities into clear, practical, engaging messages for global audiences
Develop communication strategies for people leaders and team members across talent, performance, and rewards experiences
Draft, edit, and coordinate content for email, intranet, talking points, presentations, social posts, and engagement materials
Advise HR teams on communication best practices and strategies
Project manage communications timelines, reviews, and deliverables across stakeholders and program owners
Ensure communications are clear, compelling, inclusive, and aligned with HPE writing style, brand standards, and tone
Use engagement data, feedback, and performance insights to refine communication approaches
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to Human Resources and partner with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication skills
Ability to translate complex HR, business, and leadership topics into clear, actionable language
Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects independently
Consultative mindset and strong listening skills
Creative thinking and willingness to experiment with communication tactics, channels, and formats
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
Strong program management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in internal, employee, HR, leadership, journalism, marketing communications, or related field
Experience supporting HR, culture, or employee engagement communications is a plus
Proficient command of English (US)
Familiarity with content management systems, collaboration tools, social media platforms, and basic multimedia or design tools preferred
Portfolio of writing, editing, or communications work preferred
