Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
Provide technical support and leadership in creating and delivering technology solutions
Build and maintain effective customer relationships and customer satisfaction
Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domains
Shape technical direction and strategies for the organization and external customers
Support chargeability, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals
Generate and cultivate new business opportunities and support deal proposal development
Verify and implement detailed technical design solutions
Develop enterprise technology solutions and provide technical assessments
Lead delivery of technical solutions and manage team lifecycle stages
Coordinate installations, designs, and migrations across networks, applications, or platforms

Respond to customer requests for technical information

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total)
Technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across multiple technologies
Demonstrated innovation and communication of new deliverables and offerings
Experience leading teams in delivering multiple deliverables across multiple technologies
Ability to develop solutions enhancing enterprise availability, performance, maintainability, and agility
Experience contributing to the design and application of new tools
Understanding of architectural dependencies in customers’ IT environments
Vendor or industry certification in at least one discipline area
Ability to communicate confidently with internal and external senior management
Ability to diagnose complex technical problems to their root cause
Broad understanding of market dynamics, industry, commercial issues, and technical concerns
Ability to lead requirements gathering, designs, plans, and estimates
Ability to produce complete proposals for smaller engagements
Broad technical knowledge to manage complex integration efforts
Ability to independently complete solution implementation or application design deliverables
Ability to manage a team of consultants
Ability to work in a multi-technology environment
Ability to present domain-specific information in customer sales presentations
