About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Influence large account sales teams to partner for near-term revenue growth and long-term account success
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain strong business relationships with alliance partners
  • Create and manage the company funnel for partner deals
  • Transform potential leads into joint sales activities
  • Coordinate specialist input to assess opportunities and make recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Typically 5–8 years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
  • Solid experience in selling products and services
  • Understanding of relationship/value partner management requirements, solution focus, alliance building, and resourcing
  • Understanding of end-user needs with regards to the business unit
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Partner and account management skills
  • Sales forecasting, planning, and reporting skills
  • Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel
  • Understanding of company products, software, and services
  • Ability to communicate offering strengths and overcome objections
