About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for HPE's Cloud Provider and Hyperscaler segment
Own hardware product strategy, roadmap, and execution
Act as a strategic partner to Corporate Strategy, Go-To-Market, and R&D Engineering teams
Lead complex hardware and system NPI programs using expertise in hardware systems and network ASICs
Drive Cloud Customer segment platform strategy, product definition, and program execution
Support cloud customer needs and pursue opportunities with Tier 1/Tier 2 Cloud customers and Neoclouds building AI clusters
Collaborate with customers, sales, and systems engineering to translate market requirements into engineering product requirements
Manage requirements and drive engineering commitments with sales teams
Perform market and competitive assessments
Generate sales and product collateral
Partner with sales and marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
Build and expand relationships with service provider and cloud customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in people leadership in Product Management
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in product management in IP networking
Expertise in network hardware, systems, and/or network ASICs
Proven track record developing and executing complex strategies across technology domains, geographic markets, and customer sets
Ability to analyze competitor products and business strategies in Hyperscaler, Cloud, and Neocloud markets
Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance market needs with business strategies, manage trade-offs, and articulate decision rationales
Strong customer orientation for developing and validating product/solution requirements and business plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding technical and business presentation skills for executive, partner, analyst, and customer audiences
Preferred: 5+ years of people leadership in Product Management
Preferred: MBA or experience successfully running/growing a business
Networking software and hardware knowledge, including networking protocols for data center and WAN, network ASICs, and operating systems
Experience working with Hyperscalers and Neoclouds in the Americas markets
