Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications
  • 12+ years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
  • 2+ industry-standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience expected
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications helpful, but not required
  • Must reside in the greater Texas region
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites within the designated region
  • Unique mastery of solution configurations, architecture design, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept
  • Expertise in HPE products, software, services, solution domains, and adjacent domains
  • Deep working knowledge of as-a-service business models and ecosystems
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to generate revenue through subscription consumption and other as-a-service models
  • Executive-level written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in English and applicable local languages as needed
  • Discussion, persuasion, consultative selling, value selling, and executive influence skills
  • Financial and business acumen, including sales cycles, funnel management, KPIs, TCO/ROI, and financial models
  • Company business knowledge, technical tools, and CRM systems proficiency
  • Resource management, project management, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with multiple products, solutions, tools, or services
  • Ability to design and deliver product, solution, tool, or service demonstrations and walkthroughs
