About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise reporting and analytics platforms
  • Lead delivery of executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting across business functions
  • Oversee enterprise reporting systems supporting financial, operational, and strategic processes
  • Drive automation and simplification of reporting processes
  • Establish and maintain enterprise data governance standards, policies, and operating models
  • Ensure consistent KPI definitions and metric alignment across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Services
  • Lead metadata governance and data quality initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on business metrics and reporting standards
  • Lead modernization initiatives involving Azure, Databricks, Power BI, AI, and cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Develop business cases and transformation roadmaps for legacy reporting platform migrations
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams on scalable data platform strategies
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities for reporting, forecasting, and decision support
  • Direct solutions for orders and shipments, billing and revenue, General Ledger, P&L and balance sheet, procurement and spend, workforce and headcount reporting, and financial planning and forecasting
  • Ensure reporting integrity, auditability, and compliance with financial policies
  • Advise senior business and finance leaders on analytics
  • Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and data solutions
  • Influence executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and strategic insights
  • Build partnerships across global business organizations
  • Lead and develop global analytics, reporting, and data engineering teams
  • Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric delivery
  • Establish performance objectives, development plans, and succession strategies
  • Drive collaboration across geographically distributed teams and business functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
  • Typically 12+ years of experience in a finance function, or exceptionally strong background in another relevant and applicable area of business
  • Typically 4+ years of people management experience
  • Superior ability to provide finance consultation to senior managers
  • Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent people management skills, including managing teams across geographies
  • Ability to build partnerships across functions
  • Excellent communication skills for a wide variety of audiences
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills
  • Excellent consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced degree and/or accounting certification such as CPA or MBA strongly preferred
