About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the GMC COO organization with financial planning, budget analysis, program reporting, and operational analytics
- Support the assigned business unit through research, analysis, and project coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects and ongoing activities
- Participate in team meetings, learn project methodologies, and collaborate with colleagues
- Suggest process and tool changes to improve performance, efficiency, and customer/client satisfaction
- Develop understanding of stakeholder relationships, performance expectations, and needs
- Complete supervisor-assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in periodic reviews, share updates, and incorporate feedback
- Support budget planning, administration, forecasting, and variance analysis for GMC priorities and programs
- Assist with financial and operational reporting, recurring dashboards, management views, and executive-ready summaries
- Analyze business data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention
- Support program management through planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and status reporting
- Contribute to strategy and operations initiatives, process improvement, and operating-model analysis
- Provide analytical support for M&A integration and other transformation initiatives as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related non-technical field
- No prior experience required; previous internships or campus involvement is a plus
- Preferred academic backgrounds: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Time management skills and ability to work within defined timelines
- Collaborative, solution-focused mindset and sense of urgency
- Proficiency in standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Comfort with financial analysis, spreadsheets, and structured problem solving
- Ability to translate data into concise management insights
- Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Interest in corporate finance, operations, strategy, or transformation
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools where appropriate
