About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex supply chain processes including supplier selection, onboarding, collaboration, negotiation, costing, and contract management
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop recommendations for management
- Collaborate with Commodity Management and Manufacturing Operations teams to gather and document requirements
- Identify data sources and automate collection processes
- Analyze data on commodity and manufacturing trends, pricing, supplier selection, and supplier performance
- Execute complex demand and supply matching activities and connect planning to execution
- Prioritize backlog with cross-functional teams
- Lead regional and global business unit planning teams
- Define and review performance metrics and improvement actions
- Contribute insights and recommendations to priority projects
- Analyze data, create actionable plans, and drive issues to resolution
- Project manage sourcing projects and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
- Document processes and evidence supporting TL9K audits
- Lead change management, communications, training, user adoption, and business readiness for sourcing transformations
- Present information using data visualization techniques
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Lead sourcing systems strategy, deployment, enhancement, governance, and integration across SAP, Ariba, Smart Contracts, supplier portals, reporting platforms, and future digital sourcing solutions
- Govern supplier, contract, and material master data quality, accuracy, compliance, and enterprise-system alignment
- Coordinate testing, validation, UAT, and deployment readiness
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and business integrations
- Define and enforce sourcing policies, governance frameworks, operational controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements
- Manage strategic sourcing programs and transformation initiatives, including roadmaps, executive reporting, milestones, resource planning, and benefits realization
- Drive analytics, AI/ML, predictive modeling, and intelligent automation initiatives for sourcing and supplier management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 6–10 years of experience in a supply chain function
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain and Product Costing processes
- Demonstrated ability in a data or business analyst role
- Experience in data mining
- Knowledge of SQL, Business Objects, Agile, SAP, and Oracle preferred
- Experience using Tableau or Power BI
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Operations, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management
- Advanced university degree preferred
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes: plan, source, make, deliver
- Understanding of artificial intelligence and machine-learning concepts
- Mastery in English and local language
- Strong analytics background, advanced Microsoft Office skills, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
