About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more complex products or a product portfolio
- Build and deliver value propositions, target customer segments, and business cases for innovative products
- Synthesize market requirements into marketing and customer details using customer, business, financial, and industry knowledge
- Guide stakeholders on portfolio strategy across planning, development, launch, management, and exit phases
- Align goals and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, marketing, and other value-chain partners
- Optimize product margins and enable product success across the lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership for significant project and program work
- Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives and contribute to mentorship and knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study
- 10+ years of work experience in a related field
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
- Extensive team skills and ability to drive and influence work cross-functionally
- Ability to mentor and lead teams on complex, ambiguous projects
- Extensive skills in cost-efficient solution building
- Financial performance metric creation and analysis
- Business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
- Ability to provide product-specific technical training to the team
- MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred
