Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of exempt individual contributors, supervisors, and Manager I supporting a large and complex business unit or finance function
Hire staff and set, monitor, and coach annual performance plans and career development
Lead complex financial analysis for a global business or finance function
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
Consult with business leaders to drive strategic decision-making
Drive global process improvement and policy development initiatives
Review, analyze, and manage key controls for legal and accounting compliance, including GAAP, SBC, and AFM
Manage external vendors such as auditors
Provide leadership during implementation of business-wide programs and products
Research market data for resource allocation analysis
Contribute to sales metrics and quota deployment
Report to the NA Finance Director of Hybrid Cloud Solutions and support the NA VP of Hybrid Cloud Solutions sales organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
Typically 10+ years of experience in a finance function
Typically 2+ years of supervisory and/or leading a project team experience
Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Superior analytical skills
Excellent project management skills
Excellent people management skills, including managing teams across countries
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent business acumen
Strong understanding of company policies and processes
Excellent consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
GreenLake, FP&A and SS&P experience preferred, but not required
Advanced degree and/or accounting certification such as CPA or MBA strongly preferred
