About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the North American Hybrid Cloud Solutions/GreenLake sales finance team
Report to the NA Finance Director of Hybrid Cloud Solutions and support the NA VP of Hybrid Cloud Solutions sales organization
Manage exempt individual contributors, supervisors, and Manager I staff
Hire, set and monitor annual performance plans, coach, and support career development
Lead complex financial analysis for a global business or finance function
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
Consult with business leaders on strategic decision-making, long-term planning, product analysis, risk balancing, and significant deals
Drive global process improvement and policy development initiatives
Review and manage key controls for legal and accounting compliance, including GAAP, SBC, and AFM
Manage external vendors such as auditors
Lead implementation of business-wide programs and products
Research market data for resource allocation analysis
Contribute to sales metrics and quota deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
Typically 10+ years of experience in a finance function
Typically 2+ years of supervisory and/or leading a project team experience
GreenLake, FP&A and SS&P (Sales Strategy and Planning) experience preferred, but not required
Superior understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Superior analytical skills
Excellent project management skills
Excellent people management skills, including managing teams across countries
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent business acumen
Strong understanding of company policies and processes
