Key responsibilities & impact

Design limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for systems software and subsystems
Analyze designs and determine coding, programming, and integration activities
Write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation
Identify and debug code issues and suggest improvements
Participate in project teams with software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners
Collaborate on software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution
Work primarily from an HPE office

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
2+ years experience with Network Systems Administration in a Linux environment
Knowledge of Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or JavaScript
Experience with installation, updates, and monitoring of Linux-based network systems
Experience designing software systems running on multiple platform types
Knowledge of software systems testing methodology, including test plans, debugging, testing scripts, and tools
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mastery in English and local language
Ability to communicate design proposals and negotiate options
