About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate as a member of a development team and perform basic analysis of functional or business requirements
- Prepare and execute unit tests
- Contribute to solution design and implementation for moderately complex projects
- Deploy and support infrastructures, applications, and services using company and third-party technologies
- Implement end-user, enterprise infrastructure, or services prepared by senior technologists
- Research, design, develop, test, implement, and support software applications, automation solutions, and engineering tools
- Partner with engineers, system administrators, architects, and business stakeholders
- Gather requirements, design solutions, develop software, test, deploy, document, and provide ongoing application support
- Support HPC and AI teams, infrastructure and operations organizations, data center personnel, software development teams, and other advanced computing users
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, reliability, and maintainability standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or a Master's degree with up to 2 years of experience
- Minimum of 2 years of software development experience
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Experience in a collaborative technical or engineering environment
- 2+ years of software development experience using Python or similar programming languages
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Django, Flask, .NET, Spring, or similar frameworks
- Ability to work independently in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, automated testing, and quality assurance practices
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React
- Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line administration
- Basic understanding of database design, SQL development, and performance optimization
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automation platforms such as GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with SOAP services and legacy application integration
- Experience with Git-based source control systems, GitHub, pull requests, code reviews, and branch management
