Logistics Service Provider Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex supply chain processes, including inventory analysis and planning, demand planning, import/export operations, and sales and operations planning (SOP)
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop recommendations for management
- Execute complex demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution
- Identify issues and assess their impact
- Prioritize backlog cross-functionally
- Partner with global business units and supply bases to generate and deliver demand signals
- Lead regional and global business unit planning teams
- Define and review performance metrics and identify improvement actions
- Contribute creative insights and recommendations to priority projects
- Communicate requirements and guidelines to regional and global planning teams
- Mentor junior-level staff and establish mentorship program guidelines
- Lead and manage a Regulatory Trade Compliance program
- Represent the organization to external customers and clients
- Provide expertise and direction on process improvements and policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- First level university degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced university degree preferred
- Typically 6–10 years of experience in a supply chain function
- Experience in more than one supply chain function
- Broker's license and/or 6–10 years of experience in a customs/global trade function
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Statistical analysis and financial modeling skills
- Very strong project management skills
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams in multiple geographies
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge
- Understanding of supply chain strategy
- Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP, and master scheduling
- Understanding of national and international trade requirements
- Knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis
- Strong leadership, team-building, conflict resolution, and conflict management skills
- Understanding of developing and managing a trade compliance program
- Mastery in English and local language
