About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex supply chain processes, including inventory analysis and planning, demand planning, import/export operations, and sales and operations planning
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop recommendations for management
  • Execute complex demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution
  • Identify issues and assess their impact
  • Prioritize backlog cross-functionally
  • Partner with global business units and supply bases to generate and deliver demand signals
  • Lead regional and global cross-functional business unit planning teams
  • Define and review performance metrics and develop improvement actions
  • Contribute creative insights and recommendations to priority projects
  • Communicate requirements and guidelines to regional and global planning teams
  • Mentor junior-level staff and establish mentorship program guidelines
  • Lead and manage a Regulatory Trade Compliance program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • First level university degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced university degree preferred
  • Typically 6–10 years of experience in a supply chain function
  • Experience in more than one supply chain function
  • Broker's license and/or 6–10 years of experience in a customs/global trade function
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver)
  • Knowledge of analytical tools, models, and methods for business decisions
  • Mastery in English and local language
  • Excellent internal and external relationship management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Statistical analysis and financial modeling skills
  • Very strong project management skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams in multiple geographies
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge
  • Strong understanding of the company's overall supply chain strategy
  • Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP, and master scheduling
  • Understanding of national and international trade requirements
  • Knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis
  • Leadership, team-building, conflict resolution, and conflict management skills
  • Understanding of developing and managing a trade compliance program
