About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted adviser to partners and develop mutually beneficial relationships
- Drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans and data-driven sales efforts
- Articulate HPE global and local business strategies to sell with, to, and through partners
- Develop knowledge of partner priorities, industry trends, IT landscapes, investment strategies, HPE priorities, and technology
- Coordinate HPE activities with partners, including sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client engagements
- Drive HPE marketing strategy through customers
- Implement HPE strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of partners
- Tailor selling solutions using HPE products, services, and technology alliances to achieve assigned quota
- Recruit and develop relationships with new partners as needed
- Monitor partner sales floors to help develop pipeline as needed
- Ensure partners understand and comply with HPE's SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Typically 5+ years of selling experience
- Solid experience in selling to partners desired
- Awareness of current technology trends and HPE strategy
- Sales, account management, portfolio, partner industry, partnering, financial, and sales forecasting acumen
- Knowledge of HPE products, services, technology alliances, and competitors
- Professional, clear, and effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to innovate and take proactive steps to advance sales efforts
- Expected travel of 50%
