About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted adviser to ePlus and build mutually beneficial relationships aligned with HPE business priorities
- Drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans and data-driven sales efforts
- Develop knowledge of ePlus priorities, industry trends, IT landscape, investment strategy, HPE priorities, and HPE technology
- Communicate HPE portfolio and solution value to differentiate HPE from competitors
- Build executive-level relationships with ePlus to grow HPE market share
- Coordinate sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client engagements
- Drive account mapping with ePlus and HPE Sales teams to align field sales
- Lead HPE strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of ePlus
- Influence ePlus to increase sellers, Solution Architects, and other partner resources focused on HPE
- Tailor HPE products, services, and technology alliances to customer needs and assigned quota
- Recruit and develop relationships with new partners
- Ensure partners understand and comply with HPE SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations
- Align sales pursuits across Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector, Cloud, Hyperscalers, and Service Providers
- Manage a significant sales quota
Requirements
What you’ll need- University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Typically, 8+ years of partner selling experience
- Experience selling to partners in a complex environment
- Experience working with and through ePlus
- Thorough awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
- Ability to influence partners and use selling skills to identify opportunities and propose solutions
- Understanding of business and financial fundamentals
- Thorough understanding of HPE products, competitors, partner industry, trends, and channel
- Negotiation and conflict management skills
- Understanding of financial accounting concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue projections
- Sales forecasting skills
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to innovate and take proactive steps to advance sales
- Ability to comply with HPE's SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations
