About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted adviser and expert to ePlus
  • Build mutually beneficial partner relationships aligned with HPE business priorities
  • Drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans and data-driven sales efforts
  • Develop knowledge of partner priorities, industry trends, IT landscape, investment strategy, HPE priorities, and HPE technology
  • Communicate the value of HPE portfolios and solutions to differentiate HPE from competitors
  • Build executive-level relationships with ePlus to grow HPE market share
  • Coordinate HPE activities with ePlus, including sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client engagements
  • Drive account mapping with ePlus and HPE Sales teams to align field sales
  • Lead and implement HPE strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of ePlus
  • Influence partner resources and sellers toward the HPE portfolio
  • Tailor HPE products, services, and technology alliance solutions to ePlus customer needs and assigned quota
  • Recruit and develop relationships with new partners
  • Ensure partners are aware of and compliant with HPE SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations
  • Align sales pursuits across diverse customer segments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Typically, 8+ years of partner selling experience
  • Experience selling to partners in a complex environment
  • Experience working with and through ePlus
  • Thorough awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
  • Ability to influence partners and exercise selling skills
  • Understanding of business and financial fundamentals
  • Thorough understanding of HPE products and competitor differentiation
  • Thorough understanding of the partner industry, trends, competitors, and channel
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve business conflicts
  • Understanding of financial accounting concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue projections
  • Ability to forecast sales quota and anticipate partner needs
  • Professional, clear, and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to innovate and take proactive steps to advance sales
  • Ability to work with partners across Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector, Cloud, Hyperscalers, and Service Providers
  • Ability to manage a significant sales quota
