About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop technical proficiency across the HPE Networking portfolio, including Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, and Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation
Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs, design solutions, and deliver technical presentations and demos
Create architectures and proposals aligned with customer objectives
Lead proof-of-concept activities
Participate in advanced training programs and certifications
Work with internal teams and partners to ensure successful solution positioning and adoption
Support the growing HPE Networking business, including Aruba and Juniper Networks
Work closely with account teams, partners, and customers to design and position advanced networking solutions that drive digital transformation

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in networking infrastructure
Prior experience as a networking systems engineer or similar role
Experience in networking design, installation, services, and support desired
Background and experience in Public Sector, higher education, K-12, and enterprise environments
Familiarity with network design principles and protocols
Experience with Aruba and/or Juniper networking solutions is a plus
Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
Aruba or Juniper certifications highly desirable, with a desire to pursue certifications
Ideal candidates must reside in Ottawa, ON
Understanding of Public Sector and Enterprise environments and procurement processes preferred
Interest in network automation, AI-driven operations, and cloud-managed networking
Willingness to travel approximately 50%-75%
Relocation is not available for this position
