About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software systems across multiple platforms and organizations
Design, build, configure, and troubleshoot integrations between the operations console and third-party platforms
Use APIs, connectors, event/data pipelines, and message buses for integrations
Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partners
Create plans for integrating technologies into the architecture roadmap
Review designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards
Provide feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk
Influence executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups
Mentor less-experienced staff members
Integrate ITSM, CMDB, and Security Operations workflows
Correlate events, vulnerabilities, incidents, and assets within the console
Integrate infrastructure and application monitoring, event management, and AIOps signals for end-to-end health and performance visibility
Own the architecture integrating third-party products into HPE's Disconnected Hybrid Operations Console

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Citizenship required
Secret or Top Secret clearance required
25% travel required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Typically 10+ years experience
Experience designing and developing software systems design tools and languages
Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions
Experience integrating software systems across multiple platform types
Experience with software systems testing methodologies, test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
ServiceNow knowledge for ITSM, CMDB, and Security Operations workflows
Tenable Security Center knowledge
OpsRamp knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Multiple patents or deployed solutions in software design preferred by history of innovation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
Ability to communicate product architectures and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels
