About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work directly with strategic enterprise customers to shape virtualization solutions built on HVM (KVM-based)
Guide customer migrations from legacy virtualization solutions
Feed customer and market insights into the product roadmap
Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with customer infrastructure teams and executives
Design HVM-based solutions, reference architectures, and migration approaches
Convert customer needs and competitive gaps into prioritized product requirements
Run proofs of concept, pilots, and early-access programs
Support sales, partners, and presales on strategic deals with demos and competitive positioning
Create reference guides, blogs, and migration playbooks

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in product management, solutions engineering, or infrastructure roles
Hands-on experience with HVM / KVM, including libvirt and QEMU
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or Nutanix AHV
Strong networking fundamentals: VLANs, L2/L3, routing, bonding, Linux bridges / Open vSwitch, and VXLAN
Working knowledge of virtualized storage and Linux administration
Excellent communication with executive and engineering audiences
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
Experience with large-scale VM migrations preferred
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python preferred
Certifications such as VCP, NCP, RHCE, or CCNA/CCNP preferred
