About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs comprising multiple interconnected projects
  • Define program and project scope, strategy, objectives, milestones, and success criteria with executives and business sponsors
  • Build and maintain program roadmaps and plans, including milestones, critical paths, interdependencies, and resource requirements
  • Drive program governance through frameworks, metrics, and accountability processes
  • Manage program risks and opportunities using analytical insights
  • Coordinate project managers and cross-functional teams to maintain progress and remove bottlenecks
  • Communicate with stakeholders and provide transparent reporting and priority alignment
  • Synthesize program data, present recommendations, and facilitate executive decision-making
  • Lead retrospectives, capture lessons learned, and promote best practices
  • Champion organizational change management and adoption of program deliverables
  • Provide financial forecasts and ensure approved budgets are met or exceeded
  • Evaluate business impact and guide investment trade-offs
  • Manage internal and external resources across multiple regions, typically exceeding 20 contributors
  • Mentor project managers and key contributors
  • Drive Project Forge Revenue Synergies across the Juniper/Aruba Networking business, supporting sales transformation and revenue growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management roles within complex, multi-business environments
  • Professional certifications such as PgMP®, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, or SAFe® Agile strongly preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated success leading transformation initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Ability to operate autonomously in highly complex environments and deliver innovative solutions
  • Recognized leader in the project/program management community
