Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a high-performing team of sellers focused on large enterprise accounts outside the Fortune 250
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy across the Great Plains region
  • Build customer and partner relationships and guide identification, development, and closure of sales opportunities
  • Drive HPE Networking market share and revenue growth
  • Inspire and develop sales talent
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management
  • Engage directly with senior customer executives to position networking, AI infrastructure, and cloud solutions
  • Build targeted business plans and strategies for resource allocation and sales activities
  • Manage account plans, geography business plans, revenue goals, quotas, forecasts, and sales progress
  • Build, monitor, and orchestrate near- and long-term sales pipelines
  • Review deals and ensure sound processing by back-end operations
  • Develop strategic sales plans and competitive counter-strategies
  • Assess and manage employee performance and support selling challenges
  • Motivate, coach, and develop sales teams
  • Lead the team through organizational change and transitions
  • Support consultative selling, client calls, and executive relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Directly related management experience and work results, including success achieving progressively higher quota or other sales-related goals
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • University or Bachelor's degree
  • Typically 7+ years of experience in sales
  • Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to manage sales pipelines, forecasts, budgets, margins, and quotas
  • Ability to build customer and partner relationships, including C-level relationships
