About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sell HPC and AI infrastructure products, services, and software solutions to prospective customers in the Southeastern United States
- Travel to external customer sites within Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina
- Collaborate with and support Account Managers by providing specialist expertise within the sales team
- Drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline
- Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities
- Grow the HPC and AI territory
- Build and maintain a long-term sales pipeline
- Identify and develop net-new opportunities
- Expand existing customer relationships
- Increase HPE market share within HPC and AI solutions
- Establish trusted-advisor relationships with executives and technical stakeholders
- Engage CIOs, CTOs, AI leaders, researchers, and business decision-makers
- Understand customer business objectives and align HPE solutions accordingly
- Position and sell complex HPC and AI infrastructure solutions
- Develop business cases and value propositions
- Lead opportunity qualification, negotiations, and deal closure
- Partner with Account Managers and solution teams
- Support strategic account planning and execution
- Help integrate hardware, software, and services into comprehensive customer solutions
- Maintain expertise in HPC, AI infrastructure, enterprise IT, competitive solutions, and industry trends
- Create customer references and success stories
- Grow HPC and AI revenue within the Southeast territory
- Build a predictable and sustainable pipeline
- Develop executive-level customer relationships
- Win competitive AI infrastructure opportunities
- Serve as the HPC and AI subject matter expert for the regional sales team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in and be able to travel to Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
- 3+ years of HPC and AI sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive relationships
- Knowledge of HPC infrastructure
- Knowledge of AI/ML platforms
- Knowledge of data center solutions
- Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture
