About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell HPC and AI infrastructure products, services, and software solutions to prospective customers in the Southeastern United States
  • Travel to external customer sites within Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina
  • Collaborate with and support Account Managers by providing specialist expertise within the sales team
  • Drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities
  • Grow the HPC and AI territory
  • Build and maintain a long-term sales pipeline
  • Identify and develop net-new opportunities
  • Expand existing customer relationships and increase HPE market share
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with executives and technical stakeholders
  • Engage CIOs, CTOs, AI leaders, researchers, and business decision-makers
  • Align HPE solutions with customer business objectives
  • Position and sell complex HPC and AI infrastructure solutions
  • Develop business cases and value propositions
  • Lead opportunity qualification, negotiations, and deal closure
  • Partner with Account Managers and solution teams
  • Support strategic account planning and execution
  • Integrate hardware, software, and services into comprehensive customer solutions
  • Maintain expertise in HPC, AI infrastructure, enterprise IT, competitive solutions, and industry trends
  • Create customer references and success stories
  • Grow HPC and AI revenue, build a sustainable pipeline, develop executive relationships, win competitive opportunities, and serve as the regional sales team's HPC and AI subject matter expert

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must reside in and be able to travel to Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
  • 3+ years of HPC and AI sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive relationships
  • Expertise in HPC (High Performance Computing)
  • Expertise in AI infrastructure
  • Expertise in enterprise IT
  • Knowledge of competitive solutions and industry trends
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms, data center solutions, and enterprise IT architecture
  • Consultative selling, business development, territory planning, pipeline management, negotiation and closing
  • Executive presentations, strategic account planning, cross-functional collaboration, partner ecosystem engagement, forecasting and opportunity management
