About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell HPC and AI infrastructure products, services, and software solutions to prospective customers in the Southeastern United States
  • Travel to external customer sites within Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina
  • Collaborate with and support Account Managers by providing specialist expertise within the sales team
  • Drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities
  • Grow the HPC and AI territory and increase HPE market share
  • Build and maintain a long-term sales pipeline and identify net-new opportunities
  • Expand existing customer relationships and engage executive and technical stakeholders
  • Position complex HPC and AI infrastructure solutions and develop business cases and value propositions
  • Lead opportunity qualification, negotiations, and deal closure
  • Partner with Account Managers and solution teams on strategic account planning and comprehensive customer solutions
  • Maintain expertise in HPC, AI infrastructure, enterprise IT, competitive solutions, and industry trends
  • Create customer references and success stories
  • Grow HPC and AI revenue, develop executive-level relationships, win competitive opportunities, and serve as the regional HPC and AI subject matter expert

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
  • 3+ years of HPC and AI sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive relationships
  • Must reside in and be able to travel to Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina
  • Expertise in HPC infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, data center solutions, enterprise IT architecture, competitive positioning, and industry trends
  • Skills in consultative selling, business development, territory planning, pipeline management, negotiation and closing, executive presentations, strategic account planning, cross-functional collaboration, partner ecosystem engagement, forecasting, and opportunity management
