About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product management organization
  • Establish accountability, operating mechanisms, and KPIs to drive predictable business outcomes
  • Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, roadmap, execution, and lifecycle for Zerto Software
  • Manage software, services, support, integrations, customer experiences, and ecosystem partnerships
  • Enable adjacent HPE offerings that derive value from Zerto Software
  • Translate market, customer, and competitor insight into prioritized product requirements
  • Define market segmentation, value propositions, positioning, packaging, and commercial strategies
  • Define commercial model, offering structure, and pricing strategy
  • Provide inputs to discount and margin targets and reconcile actuals versus budgets
  • Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Support, and Services
  • Partner with Marketing, Enablement, and Go-To-Market teams on sales tools, messaging, and field activation
  • Advise leadership and Sales and represent the portfolio to executives, customers, partners, and analysts
  • Shape Zerto Software's role in HPE's cyber resilience strategy
  • Help define protection, recovery, and mobility solutions for AI-enabled workloads

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in enterprise cyber resilience, data protection, business continuity, virtualization and containers, or related software domains
  • General manager-style product management leadership experience
  • Significant experience leading senior product managers in a geographically dispersed team
  • Strong customer and market orientation
  • Strong technical acumen and business judgment
  • Commercial understanding
  • Experience owning or influencing holistic business plans and investment decisions
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Services, Finance, Marketing, Enablement, Go-To-Market, and Sales
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills
  • Ability to define KPIs, interpret business and product performance data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
  • Understanding of emerging AI and agentic AI infrastructure requirements
  • Experience building and managing integrated software and services offerings with recurring revenue and customer adoption objectives
  • Experience with strategic technology and go-to-market partners
  • Understanding of enterprise software business models including perpetual, subscription, consumption-based, and hybrid approaches
  • International experience across global organizations, customer segments, and markets
