About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product management organization
- Establish accountability, operating mechanisms, and KPIs to drive predictable business outcomes
- Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, roadmap, execution, and lifecycle for Zerto Software
- Manage software, services, support, integrations, customer experiences, ecosystem partnerships, and routes to market
- Enable adjacent HPE offerings that derive value from Zerto Software
- Translate market, customer, and competitor insights into prioritized requirements
- Define market segmentation, value propositions, positioning, packaging, commercial strategies, and tactics
- Define commercial model, offering structure, and pricing strategy; provide discount and margin inputs
- Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Support, and Services for on-plan releases
- Partner with Marketing, Enablement, and Go-To-Market teams on sales tools, customer messaging, and field activation
- Advise leadership and Sales and represent the portfolio to executives, customers, partners, and analysts
- Report to a senior product management executive and contribute to the Cyber Resilience and Data Protection Solutions Leadership Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 15+ years of relevant experience in enterprise cyber resilience, data protection, business continuity, virtualization and containers, or related software domains
- General manager-style product management leadership experience
- Significant experience leading senior product managers in a geographically dispersed team
- Strong customer and market orientation
- Strong technical acumen, business judgment, and commercial understanding
- Experience owning or influencing holistic business plans and investment decisions
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Services, Finance, Marketing, Enablement, Go-To-Market, and Sales
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills
- Ability to define KPIs, interpret business and product performance data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Understanding of emerging AI and agentic AI infrastructure requirements
- Experience building and managing integrated software and services offerings with recurring revenue and customer adoption objectives
- Experience with strategic technology and go-to-market partners
- Strong understanding of enterprise software business models, including perpetual, subscription, consumption-based, and hybrid approaches
- International experience across global organizations, customer segments, and markets
