About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business
  • Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making
  • Forecast financial results within a broad scope
  • Lead finance business processes and North America’s full P&L flash process
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Represent North America in cross-regional and cross-functional planning processes
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts
  • Learn and apply AI and automation to work
  • Use and understand reporting systems including Anaplan, EAP, and BOE
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, executive reporting, and business decision-making for North America

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
  • 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst
  • Experience in more than one finance function
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent business application skills, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Superior teamwork skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good project management skills
  • Good understanding of PnL
  • Knowledge of HPE financial data systems, including EAP, BOE, and Anaplan
  • Advanced degree or accounting certification such as CPA or MBA preferred
