About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the overall account lead and single point of contact for numerous large named accounts in an assigned geographic territory or industry
- Build growth opportunities using the account planning process and manage planning reviews and updates
- Leverage external partners to deliver solution sales
- Spend significant time directly with customers at all organizational levels, including management and executive levels
- Develop business plans with customers
- Apply consultative-selling techniques to advance profitable revenue-growth opportunities
- Maintain customer loyalty, trust, and integrity
- Achieve and manage quarterly, half-yearly, and annual quota and/or margin
- Enter opportunities in the pipeline tool and update them weekly
- Implement pipeline-management practices and margin-recovery strategies
- Interface with international accounts in collaboration with global and local teams
- Identify customer requirements, match them to company capabilities, and select the appropriate supply chain
- Lead account resources to coordinate account management and achieve business results
- Represent the organization to external customers and contribute to cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- University or Bachelor's degree
- Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience
- Industry experience required
- Experience with computers, printers, servers, or storage
- Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers for given products
- Expert-level sales knowledge and company expertise
- Leadership and cross-functional expertise
- Good time management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external partners
