About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead one or more multi-functional Storage programs and project teams
Drive HPE Storage product offering and implementation processes
Create schedules and ensure successful execution of critical deliverables
Manage program budgets, resource allocation plans, and supporting delivery requirements
Manage internal and external project teams and adjust schedules and resource allocation as needed
Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders
Collaborate with management, manufacturing, development, and partner teams to resolve issues and implement changes
Drive innovation and integrate new technologies and initiatives to improve program efficiency
Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff
Report to the HPE Storage Program Management Office within the Hybrid Cloud organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Citizenship required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Information Systems Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
Typically 6–10 years’ experience as a program manager
Extensive experience using Smartsheet and other program planning tools and software packages
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing all aspects of programs, communicating with stakeholders, and directing very large matrixed teams and resources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mastery in English and local language required
Ability to communicate program plans, proposals, and results and negotiate at senior management levels
Ability to escalate issues and negotiate options across management and partner teams
Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance
PMP/PMI certification preferred
